Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. The short version

Cancel any time from your account in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not bill you again after you cancel, and we do not charge a cancellation fee.

There is no trial period. Your card is charged when you subscribe and your access starts at that moment, so there is no automatic conversion to be caught out by and no date you have to remember.

2. Cancelling

Open your account settings and choose Manage billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancel there. No email, no form, no phone call, and no retention offer to click past.

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not shorten the period you have paid for: if you cancel a 6-month plan in month two, your access runs to the end of month six.

Your question history, accuracy statistics and flagged questions are not deleted when a subscription ends. If you subscribe again later, they are still there.

3. Refunds

Because access is digital and immediate, we generally do not refund a subscription period that has already started. The free sample is the mechanism for evaluating the Service: it costs nothing, needs no payment method, and includes clinical vignettes with their full explanations alongside a portion of every other feature — rapid-fire recall, concept maps, traps, checklists and references. It exists precisely so that you do not have to pay, or ask for a refund, to find out whether the content suits how you study.

We will refund in full, without argument, in these cases:

  • You were charged after cancelling.
  • You were charged more than once for the same period.
  • A fault on our side meant you could not use the Service for a meaningful part of the period you paid for.
  • You were charged for a renewal you had no reasonable way to see coming.

Outside those cases we still read every request. If you subscribed by mistake and have barely used the Service, say so — we would rather refund you than argue with someone who does not want to be a customer.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Stripe processes them; your bank decides how quickly the money appears, typically 5 to 10 business days.

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically over about two weeks and we email you at each attempt, telling you the amount, the date your access ends, and how to update your card. Nothing is deleted while this is happening.

If every attempt fails, the subscription ends and access stops. You are not billed for the period that was not paid for, and you are not sent to collections.

5. Price changes

We give reasonable advance notice before changing the price of an existing subscription. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Currency and card fees

All prices are in United States dollars. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. That amount is set by your bank, not by us, and we cannot refund it.

7. Asking for a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and say what happened. You do not need to justify yourself at length. We aim to reply within two business days.

If you think a charge is wrong, contact us before disputing it with your bank. A dispute freezes the amount for months and we can usually fix the problem the same day.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer-protection law that applies where you live. Where that law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, that law wins.
